It's an adjustment, hot and dry and not much humidity in terms of weather. Quality of life is different. You need a car here. Public transportation isn't a viable option, and it's very spread out here. Most things are a 10-20 minute drive or in some cases longer. No beaches! But plenty of pools.

I've been here 5 years! Phoenix does have quite a bit of crime however I don't see it worse than LA or NYC. and the heatttttt def contributes to the madness! 🤣
