Of course, the BIGGEST way they've supported both of us kids & Gram over the years (& still help me & Gram with from time to time today when money's tight) is with the food bank where we can get essential groceries and home supplies once a month.

Samaritan House has supported my little family off & on for nearly 20 years. When my brother & I were kids, they helped us get backpacks & school supplies; have gifts on Christmas thanks to their Giving Trees; & one of the staff even helped with my hair, makeup, & dress for my senior Prom!

Whether I place Top 4 or not, I'll still be fundraising for a nonprofit organization that's near & dear to my heart: my local Samaritan House! After working with them to help them be listed with the Twitch Charity tool, you can earn those #TogetherForGood badges & emotes by donating at least $5!

After chatting, I plan to kick off my 1st playthrough of #Spiritfarer which a dear friend so graciously gifted me a while back! Some would probably say I'm crazy for starting this game after losing my soul dog a couple of weeks ago, but I think in a way, it'll help me work through some of my grief.

We're currently trying some meds, prescription kidney food, & I'll be taking her in for sub q fluids every couple of days over the next 10-14 days before a recheck. If things look better from there, great! But if not... we'll need to consider admitting her to the hospital for a bit.

Damn, what a "bruh" moment lmao I had a similar reaction when they announced the requirements for Affiliate were reduced but y'know what? I also kinda wear it like a badge of honor in a way to have earned my Affiliate status back when it was harder! Glad it's more accessible for folks now!
