Last week at JFK, I came across the “Strangers Project”—a wall of personal notes, from light and funny to really deep stuff. Some made me laugh, others made me question things, and some made me feel connected to people I’ve never even met. That’s the power of stories! Thought I’d share :)

One of my all-time favorite movies is the Bridget Jones series. I was a little worried the newest one wouldn’t live up to the rest, but I absolutely loved it! I laughed, cried, and highly recommend 🍿🎬 !!

One of my goals this year is to read a book each month! So far (yes, I know it’s only February), I’m on the right track!

January: Becoming by Michelle Obama
February: The Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein

I’m still looking for something to read in March! Any recommendations?

Today, I read a case study on Mattel’s reinvention of Barbie, from a symbol of unrealistic beauty to one of empowerment and inclusivity. The Barbie movie helped reshape her narrative, aligning with Mattel’s core values and boosting its reputation. What can other brands take from Mattel’s journey? 👀

I just finished Becoming by Michelle Obama, and it’s easily one of my favorite books so far. It’s not just a glimpse into her life but also a powerful reflection on race, hard work, and resilience. If you’re looking for your next read, I highly recommend it!

This week in my strategic communications class at NYU, I learned about Casper’s communications campaign and thought it was brilliant. When a brand from a “boring” industry can make its product appealing, you know they have the right strategy and the right team behind it.

Still figuring out how BlueSky works, but I stumbled upon this and it took me right back to my childhood. A Bug’s Life was one of my favorite movies growing up—I had completely forgotten! Fun fact: my favorite character was Heimlich the caterpillar. Absolutely loved him.

Will Starbucks' new strategy work? I read a WSJ article that got me thinking about how the company is adapting to stay relevant and meet its goals. With Brian Niccol as CEO, there’s potential for a lasting impact. But, I have to admit...as a coffee lover, I’ll always prefer local spots 👀
