Been diving into Max Roach & Clifford Brown’s music. Absolute brilliance. Just learned Clifford died in a car crash in ‘56 at only 25, en route to meet Max for a gig in Chicago. Such a tragic loss. To be that good so young, just can’t help but wonder what more he had before him.
