I've been saying this for a while and it feels validating to see you comment on it. But the first time I saw it pushed was by a non-left reporter who covers defense tech that I encountered on TikTok before the whole ban thing. But now I'm seeing it a lot on YouTube channels.

I had a recruiter for a contract do this manually during a call he scheduled to "make sure my ms teams works" the day before my interview with the client, he said "We've been getting a lot of AI candidates showing up to interviews so I need you to show me your gov ID"
