In a time where queer people are more in danger than ever and we are ignored by our governments, thanks to conservative beliefs, I will never complain about The Sims team adding more free inclusive content, especially outside of pride month. A big thank you to the Sims team!

I was looking up if the save corruption bug is still happening to people on the Sims 4 subreddit, because I hadn't heard anyone mention it in a while, and huh...

A screenshot of a question post titled "Is For Rent still corrupting saves?", from r/Sims 4. User "HeartFoam" commented with 12 up votes, "It wasn't a For Rent bug, and it's mostly dependent on save file size and how much RAM you have. For Rent made it easier to cause the save corruption, but it's always existed and still exists." HeartFoam then added a link to a bug report for the game from 2021. The link is "https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/NEEDS-SAVES-Orange-Green-Exclamation-signs-over-lots-Houses/td-p/10533991" HeartFoam continues their comment, referencing the link they added: "That thread started in 2021, and people talk about how they ran into the corruption years earlier. For Rent only came out last December." The original poster, FloweryPrimReaper, responds: "Thank you for sharing this. I just got a new computer so hopefully RAM won't be an issue anytime soon." A screenshot of a question post titled "Is For Rent still corrupting saves?", from r/Sims 4. HeartFoam responds: "It really depends on how we play. Recently someone posted a single rental building with 39 units and around 190 sims. Not because they're going to play those sims, but just to see some more activity on the lot. (But the game will never spawn that many sims on a lot, so there's some misunderstanding there, and all they've done is make save corruption way more likely.) So that's how For Rent contributes to the massive increase of this happening. Someone with one giant mega save with hundreds of sims and buildings and items will have a large save file, and is asking for trouble. If we plop down 10 rental units and hundreds of sims in an already overpopulated save, expect problems. In that thread, some say corruption happened at around 120,000kb save file size. Some people with stronger PCs went much higher. I'm very light on mods, and have separate saves. Mods have to be loaded too. Computers running Sims 4 have a lot to think about."
