As a teen she was trained by the local wise woman in magics. She married and had children, working in her community as a healer. But then the war came, and protecting her community drove her to the battlefield where she fought hard and well. Afterward, she settled once more surrounded by her family.

Picturing a movie scene in your mind, trying to get the detail as perfect as possible. The theory was (is?) that it distracts you, same as the upside down water trick, but it’s less messy 😂

Yeah I’m not out here writing in other people’s books but some of my RPG pals are talking like I want to scribble all over theirs too 😂 For me they’re like interactive art, and objects, made different (better? For me anyway) and more useful through interaction.

I annotate my RPG books as I read them - it helps me to understand, and remember, and to find things more easily. People get *so* upset by it when I show my books full of writing though. I think there's a perception of books as not just art but untouchable rather than interactive sometimes.
