I edited this comic for poet Jehad Abu Dayya and artist Esraa Elbanna, currently displaced in Deir alBalah. They wrote and drew it together from their tents. It is a very intentional work with many layers to it, I hope you read it (1/5)

i’ve only ever tabled at cairocomix where i print on mugs and stickers and postcards locally! but i’m not quite sure what I can (realistically) bring to MICE that visitors might enjoy. i’ll probably just do custom drawings for the duration

hello bluesky im deena! im an egyptian comics artist. i wrote, illustrated and translated a graphic novel called shubeik lubeik. it is about buying and selling wishes in a world that regulates and puts a price on everyday people’s wants and needs. its not very different to our world.
