This weekend is one of my favorite benefit events. Over 1500 artists have created unique postcard-sized artworks for this years show: everything sells for the same price and all the money goes to support the incredible work that VisualAIDS does #queerart

Every Thursday for the last year myself and two other community members have been learning the art of mosaic from the talented Haifa Bundt-Hadi while working on a new mural that honors the Lenape people by telling their creation story. The mural was unveiled this week at the Yonkers Library.
