Big proponent of sports from the city of Atlanta.
Can you expand on the police part, I didn’t know there was crossover there and that’s a huge red flag for me.

I honestly don’t mind Rams getting a better pick because it’s means we have a better 2nd round pick and beyond.

And somehow went 0-3 when we broke the NFL record for most sacks in a 3-game span.

It’s why of all the things that make me want to never watch football again this season, not having our 1st isn’t one of them. Even if it’s a top 10 pick, it’s worth it for pierce.

They way they didn’t even flinch when we got that shot on Simpson on the off sides…

I would love him so much with London

Brad, so is it likely or unlikely that the Hawks could sign and trade for a guy like NAW and preserve the TPE to use for an additional target?

We can only deal with what’s happening, not hypotheticals. Mookie and Kershaw, standing with beaming smiles with that man at this point in history, own that moment. Saying “all teams would do this” gives unearned cover to those in power making choices like that.

This strikes me as a calculated risk. Eat 10 to force him to waive the no trade. Great pivot for the front office if it works and they’ll have a lot to answer for if it doesn’t.

My take from the media when it was signed was that it was viewed as a fair exchange of getting a higher than expected number annually so he would accept what was essentially a 2 year deal.

Can you share the reporting on item 1 around due diligence? I’ve not seen any of that yet, and if it’s objective fact, I’m missing it. Where are you seeing this proliferated to the point of being objective fact?

Consequences exist because it didn’t work out—that’s an objective fact. But that doesn’t prove that attempting to solve both the short- and long-term QB problem at the same time was wrong. In my opinion, the risk of missing on one was far outweighed by the potential gain of hitting on at least one.

If we land a franchise QB and endure only a single season of cap pain because we chose to risk it by double down on both the present and future at the QB position… may every decision be that bad

You’re talking about the Dodgers of the past. It’s okay to not be upset about the team you support buying a roster, but Will Smith is the only substantive home grown player on the roster. It’s okay to be a fan while also owning the reality of a roster completely purchased.
