Decided to practice bodies by drawing Great General Khazan! Feel like the blood in his hair ended up looking a bit more like highlights but 🤷 GG better luck next time
I'm still really proud of this though, it was my first time blending markers!!

I stand corrected. The epilogue fixed my sour feelings towards S5 being the final ending of FFBE's entire story, I like this one much better. Good ending boss, good job on ACTUALLY telling us where everyone ends up & what's coming next for them & good ending CG

Hope I'm not jumping the gun here but so far this epilogue is leagues better than the ending of S5. Leave it to Dark Sol and cinnamon roll Mont on the outside that is actually psychotic Mont on the inside (I need to do something with this concept I love it sm) to fix everything

I get that corny nonsense is kind of FFBE's shtick and I usually love it but this felt a bit *too* much.

As much I imagine people would have wanted to see me go mental at the whole Rain/Fina getting married stuff, I really don't have the energy for it

I'm sure if the story had more time to develop, the moment might have made me feel something. It's not all bad though, I did enjoy how we got to physically break Rain out of the crystal to help with the final battle, even if the way he got out was literally "thoughts and prayers"

Granted, I understand why this was the case, because Square probably saw EOS coming and had to rush things, but still. The rushing kind of applies to a lot of other aspects as well, like characters. The moment where Rian (Or Lian idk, translator) and Niall vanished lacked impact

I think I'm almost done with S5. Having come this far, it kind of makes me wish that throughout the story of BE, the characters used visions more often. I really like when gacha stories find a way to canonize(?) the gacha system, so I wished they leaned into it more
