Finches look like sparrows that got in to a basket of strawberries to me. 🪶

It is completely irrational, but sometimes when I see Mourning Doves alone I feel bad for them. This one was perched up all by itself, not singing, just watching. 🪶

Unfortunate angle but pleased with the colors and sharpness of this one. I think it's a House Wren? 🪶

Another picture I took on vacation. This one, like the last one, was taken at the Oconaluftee Visitor Center in North Carolina while looking for elk which we sadly didn't find. 🪶

Went on vacation and got this picture of an Eastern Bluebird and was very impressed with how it turned out.

Compositionally not my favorite duck pic I got today, but my first time shooting at high shutter speed and I love how the feathers under the wing look.

In the later half of last year, as I pushed deeper in to my 30s, I started watching Star Trek, beginning with TNG. I maybe saw an episode here and there growing up, but I was much more in to high fantasy than Sci-Fi. The lessons of the show would have meant nothing to me then, but I def missed out.
