So here's the thing...

I had to watch The Substance again to decide if I liked it because all I could think about walking out of the theater the first time was "What the hell did I just watch?"

I'm right there with you. Maybe my expectations just weren't in the right place for what the movie was, but I was very underwhelmed with it.

Personally, I start playing it, have a great time with it, and resolve to come back to it the next day. Then the next day I have trouble getting myself to play for some reason.

I would go as far as to say I'd bankrupt myself there, easily
