We will ALL live long enough to join the disabled community if we are lucky. Weird puritanical belief systems have shaped our society to only focus on able bodied experiences & needs. It is hard to unlearn biases and harder to create systemic change. But we all benefit when we do.

Orchestrate an army of fact tellers for a real time fact checking and bring a large screen set up behind you that you can scroll the corrections on and stream it to a website linked with supporting data. He will lie, you do not have to sit in silence and accept it.

“Something I disagree with in a way I didn’t need to recoil from” for the win. Thanks for bringing the art of respectful disagreement, I am sure it is an effort.

Ok. This was super interesting. BUT why can’t we fix this by taxing the rich, free education and child care programs? We don’t actually need to keep growing. Money is made up. The economy is made up. Life is real. You said it perfectly, we need to be a BETTER community, not a bigger one.

I loved the music, then saw it on Broadway (not OG cast) I read the book, I was warned about the disparity. I love both on their own merits. I enjoyed the animal rights activist angle. Both are exploring public image. Maybe things are so crazy in the USA that the message was a little soft hitting??
