right, I'm sitting here thinking 'yeah, I guess I would settle for Joe Musgrove if we can't land Logan Gilbert,' when our actual 2027 rotation is going to be like...Grayson Rodriguez, Cade Povich, Brandon Young, Patrick Sandoval, and Dane Dunning.

I assume they won't compete for Skubal, but Woodruff for 2 years and then signing Gilbert (ha/ sigh), or Pablo López/ Musgrove after '26 could be a better plan than hoping Framber is still a 1 or a 2 in 2028

Leo Gomez probably played too regular in 1992, but otherwise is a pretty close approximation of Urias.

Jim Dwyer played at a 2.5 fWAR pace for 6+ years without ever getting 300 PAs. Do Roenicke and Lowenstein count, or were they too popular? Lowenstein worth about 2.7 fWAR p/600 PAs over parts of 7 years, Roenicke averaged just under 4 wins p/600 PAs--neither ever had 400 at bats.

I try now and the only responses I get are from my high school French teacher and a guy I went to college with who told me big pharma doesn't want us to know that you can cure cancer by cutting out seed oils.
