Says a lot about the Times opinion section that their survey of Seattle “residents” mostly features folks from the suburbs.

Can I request a deep dive into whatever the hell has gotten into Saka? Between his vote against the SPOG contract and his awkward attempts to buddy up to @bretthamil.bsky.social, there’s gotta be something going on.

I’m so confused

“These people do nothing but complain,” he said, complaining.

C’mon, no need to slander all of West Seattle. Plenty of Wilson supports here, as that map indicates. Sure, waterfront landowners largely went for Harrel but that’s true for the rest of the city too.

Is “my gf who doesn’t post” the new “my gf in Canada”?

One of the many cool things about Katie Wilson is her embrace of local media that’s not the Times. I’m looking forward to her appearance on Seattle Nice.

Absolutely, but a truly diverse local news diet would also include Real Change and the South Seattle Emerald. There was a time when I would have included the Stranger but I haven’t read it much since they fired Hannah Kreig.

Does this mean Harrel won the much-coveted Choe endorsement?

Yeah, I don’t understand why the Harrel campaign thinks making Wilson even more relatable is a good move for them.

Also, the NYTimes refers to the Seattle Social Housing Developer, which has “Seattle” right there in the name, as a “regional public housing authority.”

Who is this moderator and why aren’t they doing presidential debates (if we ever have them again)?

Someone please explain to me why builders and real estate investors oppose the candidate who supports more building and real estate.

Here’s the thing. Everyone loves big trees. EVERY SINGLE PERSON. It’s simply a matter of what else you also love. Tree Action & NPI only love big trees (and parking). I also love people, equity, stopping climate change, little trees, shrubs, bushes, restaurants & cafes, ending traffic violence, etc

Ok, I’ll bite: Why were so many King County towns incorporated on the same day but in different years?

So many of your single panels are best on their own. My favorite is “and then I inherited a bungalow in Ballard…”
