After battling Birth Deaths and Marriages NSW I am now finally legally me!! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️

4th lot of paperwork to update my birth certificate with the NSW Department of Births Deaths & Marriages.

Let’s hope they finally accept it and update my birth certificate.

Otherwise I will have to wait for the equality act to come into effect. NSW is so backwards sometimes

I’m quite scared that Dutton is likely our next PM we have already seen the QLD gov stop gender affirming care for minors, the fed Libs have announced they want to do away with welcome to country ceremonies and the NT gov has taken down pride flags at hospitals. It looks like Trump policies are here

I might be fighting ableism in the workplace and feeling super dysphoric of late but at least I look and feel good in my new dress

Being disabled in the workplace be like having to fight for assistive tech like JAWS & noise cancelling headphones and having to get the union to help me fight for flexible working arrangements which my doctor & specialist recommended so I don’t burnout
