No he was thinking that he would use his privilege as a public figure to investigate what they would do so everyone would know more about what is happening behind the scenes. This is the kind of thing he reports on. He also explicitly told his audience countless times not to do what he did.

Over a year of voice lessons I had no major improvement. I was getting hopeless but recently I finally made a breakthrough and I'm just trying to get over the fear of using it in public. If it's something you really want and care about I'd say don't give up. Obviously it's not a requirement though.
