What's up with this particular phenotype of yellow-throated marten? It doesn't seem to match up with the description+image results for any of the 3 subspecies I'm aware of? In particular it just looks way more "chunky" than usual and has distinct white paws and more orange-y fur than normal?

i cant be the only one that feels an intense sense of despair and isolation seeing more and more anecdotes like this pop up right? ive had interactions like this with my own family already. i feel like im going insane!

Every day with this bullshit. I was looking for references and the first google image result for "hairless rat" is some sort of AI generated possum-dog (compare the nose shapes on the left (AI) vs on the right).
