@mnpca.bsky.social now that PFAS is banned are you going to put a stop to the use of tire derived aggregate in storm water systems? It seems extremely counterintuitive to allow a product that's 60%+ PFAS to be used to retain and filter storm water which is then released to ground or surface water.

Scrap tire aggregate poses a serious health risk to our community. Tires contain vast amounts of PFAS, toxic chemicals linked to cancer, infertility, and immune deficiency. These forever chemicals don't break down in the environment, posing a long-term threat to our water, health, and our families.
