GRRR when does she blow up a continent!??!!! How am I supposed to watch this it’s just subtle character moments and good writing!!!! I need constant over the top visual stimulation or I risk having a coherent thought for once in my life!!! (I like Frieren)

There many things to blame first before budget for something being “bad” or being good and this money centric thinking is a weird symptom of the world we live in. Animation IS an industry and money is a big factor I just wish people would treat art as art more, respect it. (end)

- I don’t wanna quote people or screenshot specific examples because even if I’m a nobody it feels nasty to call specific people out when in reality they probably don’t even understand why what they are saying is problematic and making a hostile environment for animation. (p4)

-are incredibly talented people even if you haven’t heard of them or they aren’t making the most complex sequences. As someone who has tried animation it’s so hard to even get the quickest most simple thing right and what you think is “bad” is still insanelydifficult to make (p3)

-time is a major limiting factor in making animation. The solo animator doesn’t have to worry about deadlines or people above them meddling in their work they just focus on making the product the exact way they envisioned it. I think many animators on “bad” looking shows (p2)
