I’ve taken a peek at them - mostly for starship battle stuff (BFG for the win). They’re fine. They’re so much like historical games. Everything is the same. There’s no asymmetry to make it interesting. That said. I’d still play with those rules if I had to.

I feel your pain. I lament that events no longer harshly penalize the __ing hell out of folks who engage in this __ery. Honestly, if folks don't want to do the whole hobby why aren't they just playing Risk?

We game the bestest! Gotta revamp my approach to 7 wonders though.
