That one guy who can't stop yapping about space. Also I work in a planetarium. Your local astronomer. Feel free to DM 😉
100mph? My instinct (when I first read this) was that it was moving at the blistering speed of 5 centimeters per year or something. Imagine you are enjoying a view of the landscape and then, suddenly, one of the mountains just decides to leave.

That could be true, but it would be kinda dumb to keep the DST, as then yout solar time would always be ~1 hour behind.

To anyone who is considering switching but is not sure, spin up a VM and try it inside VM. I did it this way and the transition was super smooth.

It is the mixing, you have a limited range, so if you want loud explosions, everything has to get quieter. That's also why ads are so loud, they level their sound to max out the allowed range.

Siril (astrophotography software) can definitely read RAW files without debayering or any aditional correction (my pictures [after debayering] are greeeeeen)

Also, you can take pictures of a white wall (or any purely white surface), invert and add to fix vignette & dust stuck inside the lens/on the sensor.

Only thing you need to keep the same is the FOV. Also take it sooner rather than later to keep the dust in the same place.
