Finding god was a troublesome task. Rumors of her sprouted everywhere. She’d adjusted the fashion, not from the cloaks of infinite suns, no, but to manufactured imperfection. He’d seen fae copy the pimples that dotted her skin and the faint splash of freckles that crossed her nose, dimples of cellulite appeared carefully penned along faerie limbs. Unfortunately, gossip wasn’t of much use (bluebells and daisies, while rumormongers were not well known for their accuracy this far out, and frankly, the fae weren’t much better).

Apparently the podcast community is coming over! I go by ItMe and I'm the creator, writer, VA, and sound designer (?) for InCo (a space opera about a spy and a spoiled prince) and Stories from Ylelmore (an all ages podcast about the silly adventures of some magically inclined children :3)

Thorn slid across the forest floor before landing in a bloody heap at Pax’s feet. Pax regarded her god cooly in the light that came dappled from the canopy, before bending over to find if her companion was still breathing. Thorn took a rattling gasp. There was something wrong with their lungs. Her god pursed her lips as if there was something she wanted to say. Pax wondered, in situations like this, who was meant to speak first. It seemed the answer was not god.

Their first conversation is short, confusing, and ultimately intriguing as Pax quickly becomes obsessed with the only interesting thing to appear in Faerie in centuries. But as time wears on, it becomes increasingly apparent that this human is there for a reason. The more her actions affect Pax’s world, the clearer it becomes that the two rules Pax has lived by for so long, haven’t always been the truth. Things used to change in Faerie, and he might be the reason they stopped.

Thorn leaned forward. “If you are so desperate to play human, then play human.” Pax ignored a stab of irritation. “That’s not what I want.” “Oh, but it is!” Thorn’s laughter was glass and shards and still, heart achingly beautiful. “You’re sitting here at your teashop, steeping and pouring and stirring.” They waved a hand and sent the pot crashing against the floor. Pax managed to stop himself from lurching after it. He was not so lucky with the gasp that scraped past his lips. “Just look at you,” Thorn sneered. A condemnation.

Finally gearing up for the release of Stories From Ylelmore! A story about a witch, a werewolf, and a cursed(?) kid who decide to make a podcast about the mundanely magical town of Ylelmore!

11.15.2023 is the current release date
