It's been nearly a week, so here's my take on #DoctorWho S2 finale: Billie Piper is back. She isn't credited her as The Doctor — just "Introducing Billie Piper" — but Ncuti clearly regenerates into her. A late change seems obvious. A temporary Doctor? Vortex energy? Intriguing possibilities ahead.

I don’t understand the logic here. Does Musk think this is some kind of ethical win?

It seems he’s implying that Trump is, in some way, connected to sex trafficking and child sexual abuse related to Epstein- and if he knew this all along, he endorsed Trump right up until this fallout?! #TrumpVsElon

Shame on the #SupremeCourt. This regressive ruling deepens divisions between trans and cis women, undermines protections for trans, non-binary people & those with GRCs. It’s a cruel, ignorant blow to #TransRights and #equality. We deserve better.

You can’t write this. Cuts to disability benefit will be voted on with no clear picture of impact. DWP’s assessment predicts 300k will be pushed into poverty, inc 50k children. More cruel choices hitting most vulnerable. #DisabilityRights #LabourCuts #Poverty

I am currently watching #Adolescence, the few few episodes that I have watched are gripping, exploring the aftermath of a 13-year-old's arrest for murder. It’s more than just a crime drama; it’s a harsh look at the realities many working-class families face today.

🚨 The rumoured cuts to disability and long-term sickness benefits are unprecedented.

If the total £6 billion cuts go ahead it would be the *biggest* cut to disability benefits since at least 2010 when the OBR was created. 🧵 [1/5]

Streeting’s comments on “overdiagnosis” of mental health conditions is dangerous. Mental health issues are real, and denying support to those who need it only deepens inequality. Freezing PIP will harm disabled people already struggling. #EndAusterity

A decrease to 0.3% of GNI (2024 estimate) represents a reduction of ~£1.4bn in budget. Cutting #ForeignAid to fund more #Defence spending is short-sighted. In a world facing climate crises, famine, displacement and more, the UK should be leading with diplomacy not militarisation. #Politics
The UK will increase defense spending to 2.5 percent of GDP from 2027 by cutting the international development budget, Prime Minister Keir Starmer said today.
