If you get one of those AI-generated scam calls that's doing the rounds, be sure to ask as many off-topic questions as you can.

Not only might you learn something (aside from when the AI gives wrong answers, which happened twice here), but it burns the scammer's tokens and wastes their money!

AI really is aimed at idiots isn't it.

My mum found this deliberately-meaningless political cartoon I drew in journo college in 2010!

The plan was to send it to my local paper under a fake name, then use my internship to lobby for them to print it. They didn't.

Peppered with dated references and local names, it is certainly a drawing.

Reform UK's racism didn't seem to bother this mysterious Nigerian fan last year!
November 25, 2025 at 2:10 PM
I spotted this really weird wording in support of Reform UK during last year's election campaign, and wondered where on earth that sort of bad translation could have come from. Thanks to Twitter's recent Glasnost, I now know it's... Nigeria!

The question is, who paid for this bot?

Despite this nice message in their email signature, I have been ghosted by a company I interviewed with 2 Mondays ago (that's 11 days so far)! I have chased for an answer, and will probably name and shame once I do hear from them - I'm assuming it's a no at this point!

Looks like someone had a worse day than me at least.

When the top 2 stories on BBC News are the top guy at Google doing AI down as a bubble and even as a product, then you know it's the FUTURE!! XD

Looks like they reused one of the ideas from World Doormat Day.

I was at the river Chelmer (near Boreham, Essex) yesterday morning, and got some nice pics! #NoFilter

I wonder if these weird Elon-loving stories from last week were part of some attempted deal from the BBC to beg him to kill the J6 story on Twitter?
November 10, 2025 at 9:20 AM
And on it goes
November 8, 2025 at 10:31 AM
I don't know if the BBC is deliberately fanboying Elon Musk to try and restore his image as a cool inventory, or if they're just scared of him, but these exciteable brown-nose pieces are starting to get a bit much.

I'm sure this catalogue was to blame in some way :(
November 7, 2025 at 8:44 AM
I guess this means that if you're already a member, you might not see any mention of Perplexity's involvement at all!
November 6, 2025 at 2:54 PM
There was no need for him to resort to violence.

If I didn't know any better I'd say their cape went up by almost the same amount as their AI "revenue"!
October 30, 2025 at 8:59 AM
I think this is nice though :)

These jobs seem a bit inappropriate. But to be fair, the man knew a lot about children.
October 24, 2025 at 11:13 PM
I bet this lot are quite busy these days.

Post you from a different era.

You know what I hate the most about starry, moonlit nights? The lightning :(

Well done, a rare photo of the sky showing its support for left-leaning British politics.
