Controversial opinion: Best of the Year lists come out too early. I write mine on Dec. 31 because I catch up on a lot of books/movies/TV during the holidays. If I do a best-of list in mid-December, I'm leaving off some good stuff! Why aren't these lists an early January thing instead??
