ngl i'd probably take a couple years off to try to just let all the dust I've kicked up settle were it not for the children to whom I owe an active religious life

I get march-september to not stress over this question and then everything is done on the other side

Actually I'm feeling brighter about this than I've been. I'm can grind through Advent and then quietly distance for a couple months before bottom surgery, and then I heal and then nobody here actually goes to church in the summer so we have plenty of runway to figure out what to do

Hoo boy I have no idea how normal people do it. I just cry a lot and try to live better now
