Whenever I wake my kids up I sing a little song "good morning, good morning, good morning to you! It's time to wake up, there's so much to do 🎵"

I think it's very nice. It's also from a toy clock I bought my eldest when he was a baby.
The fisher price laugh & learn counting colours clock. It is orange and in the style of an old-school round alarm clock with the little bells on top. It has a smiling face and the numbers around the dial are surrounded with different shapes and colours.

Feeling pretty lucky to have a backyard we can tent in for fun

I've been thinking about grading this Pokemon tcg base set Charizard I've had since 1999. On the one hand, I'd love to know what it's worth. On the other, the idea of finding out it's worth a lot makes me kind of sad, because I'd have to sell it, and like... That's my Charizard

Boo. Batch making potions doesn't appear to work, because too much of the glitter settles in the larger jar even if you stir it before pouring. This is okay, I'll just have to buy a teeeny tiny measure spoon

Tomorrow I am going on a quest to buy edible glitter so that I can make drinkable potions for Thea's mermaid party, a step up from last year when I had potions that, while nontoxic, were certainly not for drinking

Friends can I do both kinds of potion at a party for 4-5 year olds

Homemade gf pizza on cornbread! The corn crispibread gives the slight flavour of popcorn. They also take less than 5 minutes to cook (this is before cooking as they don't last long enough in this house to photograph after)

Plant parents and real grown ups™ among my friends please send help? I don't know why my white princess is struggling so much and I'm just a dumb baby new to plant parenting (I think I over watered it in the winter maybe)

I think the location is ok because my pink Princess is looking good? Hlep
White princess philodendron looking sad as heck, her leaves are few and the ones she has are green but kind of wrinkly Pink Princess philodendron looking happy and glossy and thriving, she is fancy and fabulous

I need you all to know that after I organised those fossils the other day Thea started BEGGING me to go to the "Zoozoom"
I figured out that's museum (fairly quickly, she's pretty articulate but still v cute) and we went today 🥰
