How long do hard drives last: Life Span Chart
Hard drives last 3–5 years. In contrast, SSDs (Solid State Drives) are expected to live ten years or more under regular use, although this is not

Isn't this the opposite? I'm pretty sure HDDs break earlier, mostly because they have moving parts. My personal experience supports this, and a quick google search also shows that ssds have a longer average lifespan: 5-10 years vs 3-5.

Anyway the feed shows random posts from your follows follows. Sadly the initial load is somewhat slow, but after that results are cached. Now Im going to sleep for 2 days straight 😴

A lot of these entries also include blog posts or similar things, mostly about tech. This one's about some hyper specific #linux install:

Yeah, but maybe too little. I guess I'll go and try to purge all the politics and stuff from the feed by downvoting. I don't know why it isn't just based on likes, that would be much better imo.

Nice that you managed to fix it! Unfortunately it didn't really do anything for me, my feed is still a bunch of random people that don't have anything to do with neither my likes nor follows lol. I'll just pray that someone at Bluesky fixes it :(

Same with me, feels like since the x mass exodus the feed is broken. I only follow artists and like weeb stuff, but my discovery is full of 40 year olds talking about literature and philosophy and politics... kinda sad, because I remember it used to be really good before ~_~

Once W10 dies I'll switch to linux + W11 VM. Except for kernel anti cheat and maybe some heavy software, this should run just about everything. Only downside is that you need a beefy PC.
And for office there is still the web version which I haven't tried, but it's probably also usable.
