Writing, taking pics, training managing partners, and running HeyHey Press. Come say hi.
I spent the morning working my squat and picking plastic bits, metal scraps, and roofing shingles out of the landscape.

It’s always good to see signage in indigenous languages. This is O’odham (Tohono O’odham), Spanish, then English.

I think it’s important for us to use our indigenous dialects in our regions. Who’s land are you on? :)

once a week i swing by my buddy LBJ’s hangout and bring some wet food and pets. for whatever reason, this lil dude wants to be around me and nobody else. this week’s feature - a new bowl that is “actually” a spoon rest.

The Santa Cruz River Farmers Market is open tomorrow. If you’re eligible for WIC and other food programs, you can get farmers market produce! Feed yourself well and locally. Need help getting there or getting food? Get in touch.

Aye! Yesterday was a clear day at the Field Station, a parcel of land in the Brawley Wash, west of Tucson, Arizona.

Our resident smallsnek came out for some fresh air and let me take a photo. The day before I caught them snuggled up with the larger of our resident diamondbacks. Temps are rising!
