This isn't an English thing. The RN, AfD, and SD are all growing and have influence in France, Germany, and Sweden.

Andrew served aboard HMS Invincible as a helicopter co-pilot during the Falklands War, to be fair.

No.

Your president is orange and you give your judges little wooden hammers. Pot, kettle, black.

There is Star Trek: Resurgence too. Made by former Telltale devs and founder.

Chamberlain was all too aware of history and the devastation and loss of life in the First World War. Hence, why he was so reluctant to go to war. Also forgetting that he did declare war when an enemy marched upon Warsaw.

Not saying you're wrong, but Linehan is Irish and moved to the US last year.

You're right, I did err in my initial post and assume their guilt. I did correct myself underneath your post that they are charged and due to go to trial.
August 20, 2025 at 10:14 PM
Peter, you have really got this wildy wrong. 'Slander actionable per se' doesn't mean what you think it does. It still refers to slander. Written form is libel. The hilarity is that you're accusing me of a lesser offence. Instead of insulting me, why don't you use this time to actually research this
August 20, 2025 at 8:12 PM
It's the second and third sentences. Social media posts are considered libel in the UK.

I only picked up on the pedantry due to glancing at it in your bio, by the way.

Good luck to you.
August 20, 2025 at 7:40 PM
Erm, what? That goes against you. Read the first paragraph again. Libel is written, slander is verbal.
August 20, 2025 at 7:19 PM
Nope, you just didn't read what I posted. You just wanted to 'win' a random argument on the internet so badly you didn't realise I'd already conceded that they've only been charged.
August 19, 2025 at 9:49 PM
Holy hell, I corrected myself ages ago and said they were 'charged'. Jesus Christ, at least read the posts before arguing.
August 19, 2025 at 9:46 PM
You want me to say 'charged' a fourth time? Are you a broken bot or is this a poor attempt at a gotcha?
August 18, 2025 at 5:22 PM
Whilst I see your point regarding police spin, I don't think these cases are really comparable due to the CPS deciding there was enough of a case to prosecute the PA members on ABH charges.

But we'll see what the outcome of their trial will be.
August 18, 2025 at 3:40 PM
Yes, which is why I've said they have been charged three times now.
August 18, 2025 at 3:13 PM
They've been charged with actual body harm, there was three injuries, and they recorded their destruction which was uploaded by Palestine Action, in a campaign by PA to attack the factory? At least try not to talk utter rubbish.
August 18, 2025 at 1:28 PM
Well, seeing as they've been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm and violent disorder, I'm going to guess it was them who are accused.

Do security guards often feign head injuries that are treated by paramedics too?

Do you often argue the innocence of those accused of crimes?
August 18, 2025 at 1:21 PM
Try reading it?
August 18, 2025 at 9:30 AM
No, the OP said that nothing they have done has been violent. I didn't endorse them being proscribed. But sure, I will say that they have been charged with ramming a van into a building and been involved in a violent confrontation that left two police officers and a security guard injured then.
August 18, 2025 at 9:27 AM
If you're going to be legally pedantic with me, at least get it right yourself. It's libel, not slander.

And yes, they are charged and are due to face trial this year.
August 17, 2025 at 10:49 PM
They hit a security guard and police officers with sledgehammers last year.

Police officer hit with sledgehammer near Bristol
Police say officers seized sledgehammers, axes, whips and other homemade weapons.

*despite it's name, it's actually English.
