I tried it once for something I thought it might be genuinely helpful for. I received an email from someone with essential tremor and was trying to figure out a word--each letter could have been one of several adjacent letters. I gave me nothing helpful and I have never tried it again.

My dad recorded his own music on a reel to reel. I don't remember ever using it for pleasure listening though.

ESPECIALLY if it involves fabric. I have to be very, very sneaky if I want to cut fabric without any paws attempting to investigate the heck out of the scissors. Or burrow under the fabric. Or both.
