This is pictures from this April 4th First Friday at Blue Star. Originally I was going to write a bunch along with it, but I think First Friday is better experienced without constant commentary.

Mochi Fest 2025 Mochi Fest was a last minute decision on our part. We had done one previous event with YumiCon (the Lunar New Year). The Lunar New Year had gone great, so we when the weekend of Mochi Fest opened up for us, we emailed asking if we could vend and they said yes. I'm very grateful! The first day was super windy, and I had to set up the tent myself because Jack wasn't feeling well.

It's February, almost March. Which is cool spring picnic weather. I've always dreamed on going on a cute Lolita Meetup picnic with the cutest outfit and little tea sandwiches. Not that the local com doesn't do cute meets, but I wish I had the cutest coordinate at the meetup. Or at least what I feel like is the cutest coord.

So ITAI not only does cute bags, but is also, hopefully, one day, a kawaii lifestyle brand. We already sell candles at our local markets. And today I tried make a new candle "recipe." Honestly, I wasn't prepared. I realized today, that the mold I had been using all this time to make "cinnamon roll" shaped soaps was actually a rose mold.
