At the end of the day, it’s really just about the sound of the pencil on paper.

A few years back, I started a Inktober side project called Monster Tea Party. This October, I decided it’s time to level up, MTP is becoming a board game!

The box cover is done, and I’m diving into monster cards next. So tell me, which monster deserves an invite to the Tea Party?

Finally started my new sketchbook! I asked my friends which creature should move in first and kelpie won! I also tested this paper with watercolor and it's not the best, but fine for sketches I guess! Might draw more kelpies soon, they’re too fun to skip!

I just finished reading The Practically Complete Guide to Dragons, and unfortunately, it wasn’t the best dragon read out there. That said, the cover is absolutely stellar.

Let’s talk about the ugly sketchbook—that scrappy little notebook where nothing has to look good. It’s not for showing off, it’s for showing up. Do you keep one?

I went to a café that usually has cats so I could draw them. There were no cats. No lemon for my tea. No honey either. #introvertgoesoutandregrets #sketchbook

I love people with solid examples. ✨
I'm tired of seeing ppl mocking concept artist looking for work, saying they can't get it cause their art may be pretty, but doesn't solve problems. And while I agree that's important, they just repeat it like a parrot without giving any advice. So here is my personal advice after 18 years of XP👇

...So I was walking with my dogs today, and we saw this fellow aggressively chewing on a rose branch.

It is interesting how artists always end up doodling on the "back of notebooks," even when they're listening to art lessons.
