Just finished "Whiplash." Not my kind of movie, turns out, but I'm glad I saw it.

"Misery" is still a creepy movie, I'm happy to report.

"Werewolf Boy" is about feral child syndrome, combined with puppy play, with a few Shitlight references. Not sure what to make of it. I got distracted and stopped watching an hour in. The acting is great, though, and I like how this movie denotes the passage of time.

Trying to articulate what in a werewolf movie I want. I can't, so I'm watching the first half hour of various ones in the hopes that I can point and say "that." I'm also reading books for different challenges, and zombies remain not my thing.

The 2014 Jake Gyllenhaal thriller "Nightcrawler" is excellent. It's one of the movies I'll probably only watch once; it was so creepy.

Watching "Lost and Delirious" for the first time since I was a teenager. This aged like milk. I'm simultaneously creeped out, bored, and annoyed.

The 2018 thriller movie "Breaking In" is a decent way to pass an hour and a half. Refreshing take on tropes! I really enjoyed Gabrielle Union's and Billy Burke's performances.

A week ago, I watched "Reign Over Me." It destroyed me emotionally. Only yesterday had I felt like I returned to normal.

I did a ton of writing in the past three days, and I feel really accomplished. Some of it was great.

I'm watching movie adaptations of stage plays I did as a kid. The plays themselves were adapted from the actual books. Lots of classics. Several roles I played in stage plays were not in the original stories, and it turns out the playwrights did the "change eleven percent" often. Sometimes more.

I had the third worst audition I've ever had a few days ago. I feel awful.

Watched "Brave Little Toaster." Not my kind of movie, but at least I watched it all the way through.

I have months of writing ideas and haven't started on any. Got another idea and it's bleak at best, dark af at worst, and I'm worried. Still gonna do it. THEN start on the others

I watched a horror movie I was so convinced I would ADORE. I'd waited weeks to be able to set aside time to watch it. It was boring as shit. What an absolute letdown. The actresses were eye candy though.

I don't rewatch a lot of movies. Currently rewatching one now. it was terrifying and heart-wrenching that first time, and told in such an interesting way. Upon rewatch: I dislike the way the story is told. There are plot holes. More could have been done with relationships. Sigh.
