What every official did in that text chat goes well beyond a fireable offense. If the government had a functional Justice Department, there would be investigation and charges for putting the national security at risk. Dems need to make it clear that what Trump administration doing is illegal.

Democratic Senators, Reps, Presidents need to lead the fight. Don't wait until midterms. Don't rely on court cases. The GOP has praised Orban for years. Unless Dems take the threat seriously, democracy in the US will fall. Any Dem leader who isn't willing to fight (Schumer), needs to be replaced.

Voters at Republican town halls have been more vocal and fired up about their opposition to Trump/Musk than many Democratic senators and reps. Replace Schumer, Durbin, etc with people who will fight instead of collaborate and capitulate.

It's not just men. Priscilla Chan is a pediatrician married to Zuckerberg. Usha Bala Chilukuri is a lawyer married to JD Vance. Both women have immigrant parents.

I think your group should also ask people to contact their Democratic Senators and House Reps to tell to Schumer step aside. Pelosi had a tough talk with Biden because she didn't think he could beat Trump. The same needs to be done with Schumer. Pressure from the public and other Dems is needed.

Running against the Democratic senators takes years. Quicker action would be to pressure Democratic Senators, Reps, and governors to remove Schumer, Durbin, Cortez Masto, and Schatz from leadership position. Put Senators who are willing to fight Trump/Musk in charge of the party leadership now.

212 Democratic Reps & 37 Senators voted against the bill. Jeffries, Clark, Aguilar, & Pelosi came out with statements against the bill. You and the other 9 Democrats betrayed your constituents and the country. Whoever is posting should look at the reply/like ratio to see how out of touch Durbin is.

You need to get Democrats congress people to hold town halls to listen their constituents. When Trump is praising the minority Senate leader Schumer, you know there is serious problem in the Democratic party.

Pelosi needs to have a talk with Schumer like she did to Biden. Pelosi knew Biden couldn't defeat Trump, and I hope she and the other top Democrats now realizes that Schumer isn't up to the task.

Jeffries is far from perfect, but only one Democrat House of Representative voted for the bill. Schumer is much, much worse. Schumer is voting for the bill.

Schumer next election isn't until 2028. Much faster option is for the Democratic Congress people to remove Schumer as minority leader. Do what Pelosi did to Biden since Schumer can't win against Trump.

Look at the number of comments vs number of likes for the vote yes post. You are completely out of touch with the voters. You are being more tone deaf than the Republicans at town hall meetings.

How about a in-person protest against Schumer? The anti-Musk protests at Tesla dealerships and Jewish protesters at Trump Tower for Mahmoud Khalil have gathered attention.
