I think it is common to abbreviate it to Lvl. But the question is if you need to abbreviate it at all.

I would put the info about HP at the top and the help at the bottom. Is there a specific need to shorten Level to Lv? If you think about different languages later, I don’t think that the English label will be the longest one

came to say something similar. There was no loop and the method is called start_christmas and not check_for_christmas, so it looks like it will only run once. So high chance for no gifts.

I’m still struggling with the camera in my game. I use a hybrid of top down and 3rd person. So the view is a bit like yours top down but the player can still rotate it like 3rd person. I find the 3rd person more immersive to increase the action feeling of the game.

Nice work. I was thinking: what about a thin layer of ice underneath the ice cube when you slide it. So when you walk over it your character slides a bit

I would move one foot to the front to give the movement more weight. So if he picks up with the right hand then move left foot to the front.

Even though you are right from an efficiency point of view. But where is the fun in looking at blue capsules and red squares. I’m not directly referring to rpgmaker cuz I have no idea what it is and does.
