As for the animation, it's gorgeous and super smooth. Episode 6 is the best—it combines two completely different animation styles to tell two different stories, and it works amazingly well.
I really recommend giving it a shot, I liked it so much I watched the whole thing in one day!

Devil May Cry also has a certain level of gore, but from my point of view, it's way less intense than Invincible. You're not going to see brains and livers flying around all the time.
