I spend most of my days trying to make other people look good, but some of you are just irredeemable.
I am no fan of Hochul, and New Yorkers should replace her with Antonio Delgado. That said it is absolutely insane that an accurate statement/subtitle like this can be written. The President of the United States vowing to punish a city for electing someone other than his preferred person. Insane.

@rexhuppke.bsky.social has it exactly right about the Trump AI poop video, and Rex’s questions are what I’ll be asking at Thanksgiving:

Boomers in a nutshell. I got and am getting mine (get your government hands off my Medicare!!!), and you can go to hell!
October 3, 2025 at 7:31 PM
BS, Senator.

1) You have the majority, could have controlled him, and you can undo whatever he does after you reopen the government;

2) you own him and the rest of this crap.

Ppl acting like idiots on Long Island and a captain of the US team doing that ridiculous Trump dance?!? The rest of the world (and half of the US) sitting there saying “they deserved to lose.” Pathetic, embarrassing and infuriating. “Are you watching, Donald Trump” is so mild in comparison.

Journalists need to ask Kennealy if he fees the same way about the Department of War change.

It always falls on us New Englanders to save this country. We might as well do it this time with a great soundtrack. Cadence to Arms, boys 💪🤛🤜👊
September 17, 2025 at 1:26 AM
Because, you dumbass, up here in the Safest Big City in America BECAUSE of our Blue State policies, we don’t need reinforcements, and a bunch of soldiers on the street would feel like an occupation (we’ve had that, remember?) be a deliberate provocation and a huge waste of money.
September 12, 2025 at 11:40 PM
And since we can’t constitutionally (is that still a thing?) prevent these ppl from traveling to our states, they’ll spread diseases ppl can’t even remember among the rest of us. This kind of crap makes the splitting up of this country more likely everyday. Terrible “ideas”.

These damned imbeciles don’t even know where South Station is, even as they’re standing right in it. STFU and sit down, you authoritarian jackasses.
August 29, 2025 at 12:01 AM
Going to leave this Forbes list of safest US Cities with a population over 100k as a preemptive strike against some BS to come out of the mouths of these idiots in the federal government, esp w/r/t nos. 13 and 15. Go to hell, you authoritarian pricks.

Chris Murphy understands the assignment and the state of play. From Politico:

What a disgrace.
August 16, 2025 at 12:24 PM
From Politico, and even the guy from the AEI is saying it. This is another disaster from which it will take decades to recover.

The Epstein stories won’t go away. Quick! Make up a culture war story!!!!

An unparalleled inter-generational theft. After pillaging the country since Reagan, the Boomers close it out guaranteeing that each subsequent generation will be worse off than that before it for the next several. To make it worse, Genx will be blamed as we’ll be the olds when it all starts to bite.

In view of how much this woman has damaged and corrupted the Department of Justice in barely 7 months, the notion that she is not enough for these people essentially guarantees that we will need Nuremberg-like tribunals and a truth and reconciliation commission to preserve the Union.

Again, the now typical move. Market moving announcement after US markets are closed for wknd, allowing insiders to position (esp for middle east markets). Time to hedge on Sunday news programs if it really starts to hit the fan - insiders profit Monday, then it’s TACO Tuesday.

IT’S ALWAYS A GRIFT

Except maybe Brian Fitzpatrick. But rest assured, poor and lower middle class MAGAs, Johnson and the Freedom Caucus were praying for you. Remember that when you’re driven into, or further into, poverty and the nearest hospital that could have saved your kid is now 5 hours away instead of 30 mins.

No Republicans or people who vote for them ever gets to call anyone weak ever again.
July 3, 2025 at 11:49 AM
I don’t believe in coincidences between this and Fitzpatrick’s action tonight. And in any case, good for him on both. Just don’t pull a Murkowski

An unbelievable giveaway to the least productive cohort in the population and more wealth transfer from young to old. Terrible policy that will yield terrible results. At least say you’re going to tax it and dedicate the proceeds to help push out the insolvency date. But no. More for MeGen NOW!

This is an obscenity. Empires are not defeated. They go broke. This is how it happens. Irrespective of where on the political spectrum you are, if you are under, say, 55, you will be writing checks for the rest of your life to make it so the dying boomers can continue to have it all.
