The rigging on the sides are for lowering and switching out the lamps on the posts; in lieu of no wind or masts for flags, ships communicate via a code through colored lamps hung from the posts.

The Apocalypse is a clunker of a ship and was what Abbie could afford when they decided to set out on their own, and they have spent their career upgrading the ship until it is what it is today. She is a freighter ship which is beneficial as Abbie primarily makes a living as a smuggler.

Thank you! It’s not a dream job or anything but it’s gonna pay decent and the work seems fun!

She definitely did before she died, and now she can’t eat anymore but probably does it out of habit for others.

Not at the start of the campaign, at least. She’s like a traveling fortune teller who gets paid in spare coins (50% made up bullshit, 50% genuine chronomancy, telling the future is a contested subject in her specialization). Will definitely give her more clothes as the campaign goes on!

Her green coat! Green was the color of the uniform she wore in her academic order before dying and losing her head, and it’s still her favorite color. It makes her feel more like herself despite undeath, clinging to the sense of dignity her uniform once gave her.

Harming children. It would immediately switch her from kooky mystic to competent chronomancer threatening to unmake you out of time. Threats of violence towards her she will try to de-escalate and joke off, but that grace does not extend if she sees you attempting to harm a child.

She pretends to be a spooky fortune-teller to earn money and gain some semblance of acceptance by being what people expect of her: a mystical witch who can see the future, so she’s used all manner of props to sell that illusion.

She is metaphysically bound to that pocketwatch after she and her husband (pre-death) caused an accident running a risky chronomancy experiment. It’s a magic instrument called a Horologue. She likes leaning into being a scary time witch, so she probably pretended all time instruments work for magic
