Borrowed a lot from the hurdlers to build up:
✅ Hip flexors
✅ Elasticity through the anterior chain
✅ Reactive rhythm and coordination

Performing at your best when all eyes are on you, starts by preparing yourself when nobody is looking.
Barefoot training in the long jump pit with tuck jumps and split jumps to prepare the feet and lower legs, helps with proprioception while simultaneously adding a little alactic capacity

Early offseason Long jump drill progression:

1️⃣ Run across an low plyo box
2️⃣ Push off into the penultimate step ➡️ jump
3️⃣ Continue running a few yards before jumping over a tall wicket
