“Come along.” Viktor pulled one of Jayce’s hands from his scalp, dragging him over to their small kitchenette in the corner of the lab. “Tea.” There weren’t many choices but it had been expanding. Instead Viktor carefully scooted towards the end of the couch so Jayce was stretched out with his head in Viktor’s lap. His tea was at perfect temperature to start sipping and Viktor gently ran his fingers through Jayce’s previously abused scalp. He hummed a tune, watching how Jayce’s lashes fluttered in his sleep. The black tea was perfectly sugared and Viktor let himself enjoy it slowly. Even after finishing it, Viktor stayed in the same position. He knew his leg would ache for tomorrow but it was hard to care about that when Jayce had finally stopped shaking.
