I don’t know what I expected when I saw that Chris Rufo was taking on the “fascism canard” but lol
Earlier this year, I was in Minneapolis reporting on Somali fraud and went to see George Floyd Square. There, I encountered two liberal women discussing the No Kings protest they were going to attend. I asked them why they were going, and they responded that it was because Trump is a "fascist" who wanted to strip them of their rights. One of the women had a "transgender child" and claimed that Trump might kidnap them. I got the sense that she was, in almost an erotic way, hot and heavy for this "fascism." It seems that the modern liberal has reached a dead end with the "endless brunch" lifestyle, and one avenue of escape is to engage in the political equivalent of Fifty Shades of Grey: calling Donald Trump a "fascist."
