until last night, when i stepped outside to take the trash out at about 12, i saw that same dog walking down the sidewalk. it turns to look at me and then runs away and disappears again; i looked around but couldnt find it anywhere. creepypasta dog w collar that only i have seen, fleetingly...

three days ago i dropped maisie off at work and when i came home to wait til my shift starts i saw a dog with a collar enter the property and run down an alley; i parked my car and ran out to go try and find it but it was completely gone

yeah, im not sure how thatll go! i do already have like a 4tb external i plan to repurpose for certain elements, plus the pi itself has 256gb internal with 16gb ram, so im hoping that should be suitable for just the 2* of us

i got it because it was small and cute and pi-hole does a great job at marketing for raspberry pis incidentally. but it seems to suit what ill use it for as a server separate from my comp so i can keep that on 24/7 instead of my gaming pc

i barely know what im doing im just following tutorials online til i get there and maybe become a bit more tech savvy in the process

im going to install pi-hole on it, which is like a DNS-level adblocker to cut down unwanted traffic; then also use it as a home server with apache / MySQL to host stuff like a priv masto instance, mediawiki, and other things for maisie and i to tinker with offline
