I liked "Rebel Girl," too. Also really loved the Neko Case memoir--I read them around the same time last winter. Next weekend I get to hear Patti Smith read from her new book; she is always inspiring.

Why do those companies have enough money to spare for a vanity project like this? Because they're....
a) ripping us off as consumers.
b) underpaying their employees.
c) not paying taxes commensurate with their spoils.
d) using OUR tax dollars to ensure THEIR prosperity.
