Yesterday, we celebrated our Director of Operations, Pamela Holmes, who is retiring after TWENTY-TWO years shaping IslandWood.

Pamela started as a volunteer at IslandWood, leaving a legacy that will endure for years to come.

Yesterday, our staff found hungry raccoon kits and their mom, who had been hit by a car. We believe she was moving them when the accident occurred. IslandWood Sr. Naturalist Christina Woolf and her husband took the kits to Center Valley Animal Rescue. Now, they're safe and recovering! #RaccoonRescue
