I'm so upset with this book because the story is actually really interesting and the writing style is beautiful (except when it gets pedantic at times) but it's just so rancid. Every time it talked about a woman I wanted to burn it.

I hope they let her be angry and resentful and even violent next season. Don't get me wrong, I think the mercy and love that she has shown until now is and must continue an integral part of her character, but she's also human and she's been wronged again and again.

This was a deadly wound for me. He's so desperate, he truly doesn't imagine what else to do with his life if not living it by her side. He imagined that would be his place forever, and instead he'll fight years and years to be back with her only to lose her forever.

Okay I se what you're saying. For me (and this is not contradicting what you say, only adding to it), this specific moment shows it even more because we see her between Pharazôn (the King's Men) and Elendil (the Faithful), and for a second she's in the middle of them just looking up, at neither
