That's where building Gundam models and the like comes in handy. A staple there is to engrave further panel lines with tool steel chisels and using Dymo tape (for those label machines) as guidelines.

Got one of the Revell critters in my stash, upgrading that with a lit maintenance bay is gonna be a pain...

Love how this nails the 1970s sci-fi aesthetics.

Interesting, nicely fits into the modern fighter/bomber concept.

Geil!
Bin irgendwie immer ein fan von AWACS-Radomes bei Mechas, wie schon in Macross Frontier auch.

Funny twist and back to the roots, considering where this show originates from.

The model really benefits from how it's designed to have some components printed in transparent resin right from the start.

One of the many things I always loved about him, he's someone who really puts in the effort to understand the storytelling opportunities of something he gets involved in.

Judy was my favorite character in the game, there's something truly special about her and you just want her to find the happiness she deserves.

Not my kind of ship, but a late-model Arleigh Burke is one of the models on my bucket list, so the information translates.

Looks like what if Gerry Anderson had done the moon landing before the real thing and I'm all for it.

Venturing into Star Wars with an Alderaan model kit?

I've tried both and Threads just wants users too jump through unnecessary hoops for their own Facebook/Instagram ecosystem just to deliver a user experience worse than Bluesky, no need to reward that.

Interesting!
The name made me wonder if there's actually an underwater variant and as it turns out, someone made a 3D-printable conversion kit for the command type to turn it into a RAG-79 Aqua GM.

Always nice to see someone do more than just a straight build.

Even stuff like panel engraving can already provide a massive upgrade, you just need some Dymo tape (or a no-name knockoff) to guide your cuts and sone engraving chisels, along with some plastic cement and a bit of fine sandpaper. Are are a great investment anyway if you do scale models as a hobby.

Love the design, it's just screaming for some scratchbuild detail upgrades.
