Successfully shaved my obese, elderly cat’s knots out (brushing makes her plan a murder) and she’s much more comfortable, so I’m going to try to do the same for a friend’s cat. She sent me this. Wish me well

A volunteer from last year’s potted plants. It’s Nicotiana Sylvestris, and it smells a little like gardenia. In pots, mine usually grow as big as the cosmos next to it. This is good accident

I’m so sorry: SIL fostered a cat & her litter of 5. The “runt” was small & needed supplemental feeding. She ended up in surgery but didn’t make it. I’d been up to adopt her to join my other cat. In a roundabout way, that’s how I ended up with this girl, who also needed a home (as we needed a cat)

Yep: when my mother was dying of Alzheimer’s, she was often mad about being touched (understandable for a 58-pound adult who had weighed 145; Alzheimer’s is a bitch), but she never forgot the people she loved (or that Euclid was “the father of geometry.” 🤷🏼♀️). Trump will only get more assholian.

All any of these craven idiots want is to get more money. They can’t understand that a society (which is what pays them) depends on the collective good. No money for the poor or middle class? No money for you, generational wealth inherit at

Today I remembered my grade 8 social studies teacher telling us that the Nazis purposefully gave the low-ranking soldiers who worked in the gas chambers terrible living conditions so that they, in turn, would treat prisoners as inhuman. Seems to be a pattern

Boycotts work: Civil Rights, Farmworkers, etc. This is a site with the top-earning US companies: we legally boycott/disrupt (customer inquiries and phone calls, social media posts, reviews): 1 per week w/ a message about dumpster fire/Musk mentions. Am I on the right track or delusional?
